With half the world working from home, what’s acceptable in a conference or Zoom call has been stretched well beyond what Bill Farquharson remembers. Oh, there’s still a line to cross, but we are all still quite a ways away from it.
A recent college grad, full of knowledge but all from books, calls Bill to vent and gets a lesson in expectations, empathy, and understanding. While we might have high standards, it’d be wise to have equally high levels of business tolerance.
