Good Morning!
I’d bet the New York Yankees would love to have Game 5’s fifth inning back in this year’s World Series. They were at home, down 3-1 in the Series but up 5-0 with two outs in this elimination game. The TV Commentators were already talking about possible starters for Game 6. But the Dodgers would come back to win, closing out the series in 5.
Bad things happen in threes, so it is said.
There have been studies disproving this belief, but it’s been my experience that customer screw ups come in batches as well: I threes.
Mistake #1: The paper comes in late.
Mistake #2: Pagination goes awry.
Mistake #3…
Stop!
Whether you buy into the “Bad things happen in threes” or not, once two screw ups occur, you would be well advised to double check everything for accuracy.
Best case scenario, you catch something. Worst case scenario, you’ll sleep better.
Game 5, Yankees/Dodgers. Yanks are up by 5. Then came the 5th inning. By the time it was over, it was over and the Dodgers had won.
Want to guess how many errors the Yankees made that inning?
Yup.
