Do you love what you do? Sure, it’s harder than ever (and that’s saying something), but you don’t need to do what Bill’s daughter-in-law did and join the circus to find happiness. Don’t let these unprecedented conditions get you down. Read’s Bill’s blog instead.

People joke about running away and join the circus, but guess what…

My daughter-in-law actually did!

Alexandra Feit Farquharson went to college, started a career, and then fell in love with circus performing. After discussing it with my daughter, Emma, she quit work and spent three years at a school in Philadelphia before graduating May 2020.

Like the rest of us, COVID derailed her life… But only temporarily.

Alex spent this summer performing throughout Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and upstate New York with a group called Stars Above Circus.

I called her today just to check in and to hear about her experience.

She said things like, “Magical” and “Beyond my expectations.”

Ask anyone in a boring job how things are going and they might spit out, “I’m living the dream.”

Alex actually did!

Do you love your job? Are you living the dream? Quick, capture the answer your brain responded with. Sure, sales is challenging and these are unprecedented times. Your sales might be down as well as your income. Just don’t let your spirit dip as well.

If you don’t love what you do, hit the reset button. You need to face these new obstacles with some new ideas and new solutions.

I leave you without advice and this wonderful video from Alex:
