My 4-year-old grandson, Mason, told me recently, “Papa, you are my best friend.”
It was such a beautiful thing to hear. I was deeply moved. What a sweet thing to say. I mean, I adore this little boy and spend as much time with him as possible (including every Friday morning, aka “Papa Day”) so it should not have surprised me to hear that, and…
“And also, Turner. Turner is my best friend.”
Wait, what? Does he understand the rules around…
“And Greyson. And Dadda. And Callie. And Momma. And Grammy.”
Did I mention he was 4?
I sincerely hope he has told all of his best friends they are his #1. It was—briefly—a great feeling I’d want them all to experience.
You might think about making it your goal to make all accounts your best and most important customer. Everyone wants to be made to feel special and important. Quick response. Amazon-level communication. Follow up. GRATITUDE (“Thank you for the order!”). Intense listening.
It costs nothing and it reaps massive rewards.
And by the way, I just love the way you consume my daily content. Thank you for taking the time. I hope you are finding it to be of value. I guess what I am trying to say is, you are my favorite reader.
And also, Turner.
