Good morning!
I have a great book for you to read. It’s a book on negotiating called, Never Split the Difference, Written by Chris Voss.
Chris is a former FBI hostage negotiator. He took his training and the tactics he used to Harvard University one summer just to see if it worked in the business world. To his surprise, it did. So, he started a company that eventually got around a writing a book.
I listen to my books instead of read them, so I benefited from the audio version, which I personally recommend. In fact, my daughter is working for a new challenger to Audible called Otto, so if you REALLY want to take my advice, check the book out there!
Anyway, back to the book…
Negotiation is a topic which challenges many of us. We instantly think of facing a car salesman. That’s not anyone’s idea of a good time. This book gives you some very interesting things to think about the next time you are put in the situation.
